MKR: The Wind Knight

Easily one of my more favorite pictures of this cosplay, so a HUGE thanks and shout out goes to Elysiam Entertainment, who took and edited this shot. Look him up, his cosplay photography is GORGEOUS.

The Magic Knights Rayearth cover art cosplay group that I worked all summer on. My friend =Animus-Panthera did all the fabric work, jewelry, and resin stuff that you see. I did mostly props and armor and wigs. Armor is a combination of craft foam armor and expanding foam. My sword is wood. You heard that right. Completely wood. It's a heavy bugger but sooo worth it.

The sword is a full 6 feet 7 inches and it nearly didn't pass the weapons check at Otakon. The sword is a wood base through and through and the only part that is not wood is the hilt piece you see, which is pink foam and craft foam details with the resin piece.
The armor and sword were constructed completely by me.
