I'm just a shy girl into BJDs (Ball Jointed Dolls), manga and anime, and photography. I'm an English Major with a writing minor and a deaf studies minor (yes, I sign!) at Ithaca College, in upstate NY. I love going to conventions, and I attend Otakon every year. ^^ My favorite photography subjects are my dolls, my pets, and my friends (for cosplay)!

Hi all! I know it's been a while and I kind of wonder if anyone still follows...
Anyway, I just wanted to pop in to say that I will be presenting two panels at Otakon 2014!
Find me at CLAMP's Multiverse Saturday at 9am in Panel 4! We're talking about the connected characters and universes of CLAMP manga. Also on FRIDAY at 10pm there's a CLAMP gathering at the Terraces. It's in the schedule too. =)
Also come on Sunday morning at 9am in Panel 6 where I'm with two others to present Let's Talk Swords 2: Problematic Props and Annoying Armor - Defy Gravity. I know it's early but it's where I'll talk about things like constructing the Magic Knigh

So it has been a VERY long time since I last updated this journal, but I just wanted to let any of my cosplay/congoing watchers know that I'll be doing Panels at two upcoming cons!
At Katsucon I will be presenting a whole new panel called "The CLAMP Multiverse and Why You Should Pay Attention." That's in Live 4 on Friday night at 5:30pm.
The other is my faithful Anime Amazons panel, now updated and called "Anime Amazons: Warriors of Another Kind in Anime." That will be at Genericon in Troy, NY at the end of February and also at Ithacon in Ithaca, NY in April.

Well...

...I haven't updated my journal in far, far too long. Especially considering the new year is on its way. Sheesh! Where does the year go?
Well, as for updates, my laptop is in pieces at my dad's apartment, since we need to fix the a/c power outlet in the computer. Now we're just waiting fr the part to arrive, and then we can stitch my ol' compy back together. For now, though, I've been using my mom's computer. I also got a 12 cell battery for christmas, so no more battery problems! Yay! :la:
I got a bad cough during finals week, which progressed into a disgusting half-wet half-painfully dry cough that I ended up going to the doctor for. And
